ICF plans to come out with an e-Book entitled Chasing Our Dreams for Peace.
We call on all the Alumni of ICF to consider contributing an essay, a short story, case study, poetry, and artwork for this project.
The book will contain the following sections:
Essays on one’s peace work or attempts at peacebuilding and correlate these with some peace theories and discourses. (Length: 2000-3000 words)
- Short story
This is a narrative of one’s personal experience of peace work. Please use the First-person point of view (POV). (Length: 2000-3000 words)
- Brief Case Study
It is a detailed study of a particular subject, such as a peacebuilder, an alumni peace group, place, peace process, event, conflict situation over a period. Focus on best practices or lessons learned. (Length: 3000-4000 words)
*free form or free verse; haiku; cinquain, etc.
*no limit of the number of words
- Art Works
- for Book Cover
- Artworks for each page between sections ( at least 5 pieces); the more, the better so we can use them alongside the poems.
- song composition with music notation on standard musical staves

We stagger the final submission of the Contributor’s final manuscript or art to allow time for editing and for the authors and artists to work on revisions when needed. Contributors must submit the final manuscripts and artwork on or before March 4, 2022.
